Apple halts Samsung Galaxy sales in EU
First HTC, now Samsung. I used to joke about how I wouldn’t buy an Apple product because of their current audience of hipsters and “cool kids.” Now I seriously won’t get one because of their company’s recent business practices.
Apple has been granted a temporary injunction preventing Samsung Electronics from selling iPad tablet computer rival Galaxy Tab 10.1 in the European Union, except the Netherlands.
An Apple spokeswoman confirmed the ruling had been made by a court in Germany, after Apple argued the Korean firm had infringed its patents.
It is the latest setback for Samsung’s launch of the Galaxy.
Sure, they’re sitting pretty up top right now, but it seems they’re getting insecure about their iProducts’ future market share that they’re intent on stopping the release of alternatives that can actually perform as good for less.
